HOSA at the University of Utah firmly believes in the national mission of HOSA: to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience.  The University of Utah is a Tier 1 research institute and is devoted to the development and transference of new knowledge.  One of the seven core values of our University is "Leadership", where we aim to engage members in conversations that lead to positive transformation at the local, state, national, and global levels.  Throughout this year we will focus on developing a Legacy of Leadership through opportunities for officer positions at local, state, and international levels, special topic seminars that will help prepare you for the professional career you plan on pursuing, state and international leadership conferences to gain recognition for skills and network with other aspiring professionals, service projects to help identify needs in the community, assistance in physician shadowing to learn from current health care leaders, and more!  Talk to you local HOSA officers to learn more about how HOSA can help you become a better leader.
